Get ready to say g-g-g-goodbye to buffering. To let people see the awesomeness of 5G, we created an AR activation for Verizon stores all over the US. By scanning a marker, people trigger an experience that showcases 5G’s game-changing benefits. The experience visualises the main use-cases for low-latency and high-speed mobile internet as floating spheres. We animated the 3D spheres to look like crystal balls that first come floating towards you before lining up in a row. Each crystal ball offers a glimpse into a nearby future that offers 4K-gaming, -streaming, and -video calling with little to no lag.
